We were among the many attendees at the Medieval Studies Congress this weekend, and found out about Saffron via a menu that was among the maps and other local promos in the registration building. So, we figured we'd try it out, which turned out to be a great decision. The place was extremely busy but we were seated within 5 minutes. Everyone - from the hostess, waiter, server and the owner himself - were exceedingly polite and attentive. The food was incredibly delicious - best Tandoori chicken ever! My friend had the shrimp vindaloo and we shared tender, delicious basmati rice and garlic naan. You'd probably expect to pay a lot more but both our dinners (before drinks) came to less than $30!!! We'll be definitely be back next time we're in the area!

My son and I love eating at Saffron. He usually treats me for my birthday and Mother’s Day, but we visit often. We love the lunch buffet, but I have also enjoyed dinner. My favorites are the Marvelous Lamb on the dinner menu and the minced lamb and the salad on the buffet, but everything is so delicious! It really is my favorite restaurant in Kalamazoo.

This is one of the best restaurants to eat at in Kalamazoo, its thee best Indian food Ive ever had. The service is excellent, the management friendly. The servers are very knowledgeable about the dishes. Id recommend it for anyone wanting a great fine dining experience.
